Who We Are

Co-founded by brothers Andrew and Matt Rubin, Symptom Media started as a partnership between film professionals and mental health clinicians with the mission to fill a critical gap in mental health education. Recognizing the need to de-stigmatize and show what mental health issues actually look like, Andrew and Matt’s film and business experience fused with mental health clinicians to launch Symptom Media.

All Symptom Media content is produced with a multi-disciplinary team of behavioral health experts consisting of psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker and a psychiatric nurse practitioner collaborate in all aspects of the development process alongside professional filmmakers.

Symptom Media is used by healthcare professionals as well as over 500 universities, colleges, hospitals & medical schools  and gives access to over 1,000 unique, concise training tools and over 200 DSM Guided Films.

What are the Key Differences Between a Single User License and an Enterprise License?

The Single User Subscription gives one user access to the Film Collection, CE Course Collection and Activities. An Enterprise License gives multiple users in a Department, University, College or Organization access to the Film Collection + Activities Section and/or CE Course Collection.

Can I Cancel My Subscription?

Flex plan subscriptions can be canceled at any time at any time by going to “my account,” click billing and then cancel subscription. All payments made in accordance with the terms hereof shall be nonrefundable.
