FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
What are Symptom Media's Case Study Activities?
Put your diagnostic skills to the test with case studies that feature simulated patient actors displaying the behaviors and language related to specific mental health disorders. Ideal for mental health professionals, educators, or health profession students who wish to sharpen their skills, but have a shorter timespan to do so.
What are Symptom Media's Simulation Activities?
Professionals and students can choose from over 65 simulation activities designed to improve competency in assessment, evaluation and management. Each activity includes a video case study presented without any diagnostic information on the client along with one or more clinical assignments — a treatment plan, SOAP note, or Mental Status Exam — to be completed by the learner.
What are Symptom Media's Teletherapy Activities?
Dive into the world of teletherapy with engaging activities designed to enhance your clinical skills from the comfort of your own screen. Whether you’re looking to refine your diagnostic abilities or sharpen your therapeutic techniques, Symptom Media’s teletherapy activities offer a convenient way to practice and learn.
What is Symptom Media's Test Section?
The Test Section is the DSM videos without the diagnosis listed in front. This way, instructors can design questions around and integrate specific videos into assignments, assessments and/or tests without the students knowing what the diagnosis is prior to watching.
