Insomnia vs Substance-related Disorders
- In substance-related disorders, there is evidence that the substance in causing the sleep disturbance.
- In substance-related disorders, the substance has to be capable of causing a sleep disturbance.
- In substance-related disorders, the sleep disturbance occurs soon after substance intoxication or withdrawal.
- In Insomnia disorder, the sleep disturbance is not directly related to the effects of a substance.
